News for the week of Sept. 22, 2003 - Sept. 26, 2003

Doak has started the new school year. This will be his final year at Unity. He is the leader of his class and as always is everyone's friend.

After selling 3 pieces last week and a commission, Bren is working on her next great creation: a Punisher piece.

Chris is working hard at his position of defensive coordinator/linebacker coach for the Parish Episcopal School football team. The team is doing great, and won the first game in school history two weeks ago.

Every weekend is a blast now that football season is upon us. An early season loss to Arkansas has irritated Longhorn fans, but they will bounce back. With the purchase of the The NFL Sunday Ticket, the Rapp family is in football Heaven.

News for the week of July 20,2003 - July 26, 2003

Doak is finishing up his summer semester at school. He made an awesome mobile that is hanging in the house.

Bren finished another piece for her art collection entitled "Homer's Wisdom."

Chris is gearing up to make his football coaching debut for the Fighting Panthers of the Parish School. He will be the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.

News for the week of July 6,2003 - July 12, 2003

Doak drew a wonderful picture of 'Piglet' from Winnie-the-Pooh. It was, by far, his best work yet.

Fantasy Football sign-up has started at yahoo.com. Here's to a successful upcoming season.

Bren finished another piece for her art collection. This one is of the mythological God, Thor. Pictures will be up soon at the online gallery.

News for the week of June 30 - July 5, 2003

Bren and Chris are celebrating their 7 year anniversary on July 6th. What a wonderful ride it has been. 7 years and going strong.

The Carrollton Fireworks display is an annual event for the Rapp family. From out front yard we are able to have a front-row view to the wonderful colors and sounds. Doak was a little cranky however, and wanted to watch cartoons instead.

Bren is working furiously to prepare for her art debut at the Richardson Comic book convention. Her art is currently on the walls at the Cafe Brazil in Deep Ellum. So far, feedback has been fantastic, and some people have already inquired about commissioning new pieces by her.

Temperatures are high, as usual for this time of year in Dallas. We just try to get to the pool and stay cool.

Only a couple of weeks until Cowboys training camp, and you know what that means....Football season is right around the corner. We can't wait!!!!
